Does Erectile Dysfunction Cause Premature Ejaculation?

Last updated on July 24th, 2018

I have struggled with erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation ever since a young age. As I’ve struggled with it I have wondered does erectile dysfunction cause premature ejaculation. Because for me they were both problems and seemed to contribute to each other in a snowball effect.

Technically, premature ejaculation is erectile dysfunction, but as I have described, to me, erectile dysfunction is the inability to get an erection hard enough to have sex. As I think about it, the ED I suffered from was more of a cause of PE than the other way around.

The biggest issue was that when I did get an erection, I wasn’t sure how long it would last. Many times I would be able to get an erection, sometimes with the help of medication, but as soon as I began to have intercourse I would lose my erection. Once this began to happen I would then just rush through sex in order to ejaculate. Sometimes I would also rush through it hoping that more friction would help my penis stay up. That never happened.

What did happen is I would finish really quick. This meant my wife did not finish, and it meant we would both go to sleep unhappy. Eventually it just wasn’t worth the trouble to have sex.

Did Fixing Erectile Dysfunction Help With Premature Ejaculation

Once I began to find solutions to my erectile dysfunction I started to notice that I could last longer in bed. The thing that helped the most was when I began to take Bimix penis injections. These injections enabled me to stay erect for a long time, even after I ejaculated. They helped fight premature ejaculation in two ways.

  • One, since I knew I wasn’t going to lose my erection I didn’t have to rush through the experience. Once I slowed down I could focus my energy elsewhere besides the physical feeling. I could enjoy talking during sex. I could focus on pleasing my wife. It was great being able to get my mind off just making sure I stayed hard long enough to ejaculate.
  • Two, and I have no idea if the science behind this thinking is correct, but it feels to me like I can now last long in bed because my penis has more surface area. Instead of the friction being distributed over a semi-erect penis, it is distributed across a firm penis at its full erect size. Sounds weird, but to me that’s what it feels like.

No matter the cause, once I got my erectile dysfunction under control I was able to last longer in bed and send my wife to bed with a smile on her face.

Premature Ejaculation Medicines That Work For Me

In addition to the typical erectile dysfunction medicines I tried like Viagra, Cialis, and Bimix, I have used several PE medicines that worked and helped me last longer in bed.

Penis numbing sprays worked really well. Promescent and VigRX Delay Spray are two that I have had success with. Peineili comes with a money-back guarantee and is a great way to decide if numbing sprays work for you.

Leyzene is a one of the great over the counter last longer in bed pills. You can check it out here. For pills that come with a money back guarantee, check out ProSolution Plus.

Does Erectile Dysfunction Cause Premature Ejaculation?

Back to my original question of does erectile dysfunction cause premature ejaculation, I would say in my case it does. But once I was able to get my ED under control, my PE problems eventually went away. I could focus on my wife and enjoying the full sexual experience.
